Located on Peterson AFB

Specific Duties and Tasks:

• Serves as the site lead, developing, planning and coordinating implementation of all activities of the health promotion program at the installation level.
• Conduct wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, health fairs.
• Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, BMI/body composition, and blood pressure.
• Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification.
• Provide orientation and training to new staff and communicate on new policies or changes in procedures.
• Ensure that programs are staffed according to the scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads.
• Evaluate programs and provide progress reports.
• Maintain current knowledge of health promotion topics to keep health education program material current. Coordinate and/or ensure supplies, equipment, and files are maintained in properly secured storage.
• Provide excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor PM.
• Support Mobile worksite events as applicable.

  Management responsibilities including, but is not limited to:

  • Supervise the on-site staff to include all on-call staff.
  • Interviewing potential new staff for the site.
  • Selecting the candidate that meets the needs of the site.
  • Training of employees both new and current.
  • Recommending staff and schedules to support site needs.
  • Providing guidance and direction of the work of employees are to perform.
  • Maintaining records in the supervision of the staff.
  • Annual reviews for current employees and 60/90 day reviews for new employees.
